How often are you open and what is traffic like at Tomball Farmers Market?
We are Open every Saturday from 9 to 1 pm rain or shine. We have 65+ vendors every weekend & our foot traffic is approximately 2600 to 4000 customers every Saturday. What does the application process look like? All applicants must grow/raise, handcraft or prepare their products within 150 Miles of Tomball, TX. Our Vendor Committee reviews new applications every couple of months. Currently we have several Fill-in Vendor Spaces available unless you are a farmer. We are a certified all local farmers market and must maintain a 51% farm to non-farmer ratio year round. Are you interested in my product? If you meet our qualifications we definitely would love for you to apply. How much do spaces cost? Once approved, spaces are billed monthly. Each Saturday rental spaces are $40 for single 10x10 booths and $75 for double booths. Food Truck spaces are $75. What paperwork do I need to be a vendor at your farmers market?

Do you have a waitlist?
No, not really. Instead of long waiting lists We have Fill-in Vendors. All fill-in vendors attend at least 2 times per month year round depending on our category limits. What do Food/Drink Vendors Need at Tomball Farmers Market? You must be in compliance with everything the Harris County Heath Department requires for your products. This includes:
Do I have to make my food in a commercial kitchen if it doesn’t qualify as cottage food??? Yes, if it is pre-prepared, is temperature sensitive or otherwise doesn't qualify as cottage food. No, if you are preparing everything on site. Link to HCPH-FM Permit. Pet Food/Animal Feed What do I need? You will need a current copy of your Texas State Chemist license and be in compliance with the TSC office HERE. Information on Pet Food/Feed guidelines HERE. You will also need a sales tax permit. I want to sell flowers and/or starter plants what do I need? You will need upload a copy of your current Nursery/Floral permit and Mobile Permit. You must to be in compliance with the Texas Department of Agriculture Nursery/Floral division HERE. Do you have volunteer opportunities? YES!! Once I submit my application, do I just show up?
Unfortunately not at this time. Vendors are required to commit to vending with us at least 2 times per month for at least a year. Exceptions are made for seasonal farmers only. I sell products for a company but I don’t make them. Can I sell at Tomball Farmers Market? Unfortunately no, ALL items must be homemade, handcrafted or homegrown within 150 miles of Tomball to qualify. My business is part of a franchise….does my business qualify? Not at time as all items must be homemade, handcrafted or home grown within 150 Miles of Tomball. Franchises that are independently owned and operated do not qualify either. I am a local business or nonprofit but I don’t qualify as a regular vendor….how do I get involved?
