Summer Hours Begin June 26 - Sept 4
1st place: Captain Foehner with Tomball Fire Department he won $150 gift certificate to Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue.
2nd place: Officer Hunt with Tomball Police Department he won $75 gift certificate to Bexar Barbecue.
3rd Place: Officer McNeil gave both of them a run for their money winning $25 dollar gift certificate to Caroline’s - A Healthy Eatery. (My husbands favorite place to get tamales and keto ding dongs!!)
The money raised is going towards a community garden where we will be working with the City of Tomball, future community events & it allowed us to give back to Tomball local small businesses who have been struggling over the last year and who got their start at our Tomball Farmers Market. We are looking forward to being able to do more events and giving back to our Tomball community throughout the year.
Please remember we start our Summer Hours this weekend. While we will still be open from 9 to 1 vendors wishing to leave at 12 pm may pack up and leave provided their vehicles are parked outside of the market lot. Vendors may not drive through the lot until after 1 pm when the barricades come down per our usual hours of set up.
It's supposed to be really hot so please come early. We will have added a misting area, we have ice cold bottled water for a small donation and a water bowl for your fur babies at the Information Booth. (Found in the middle of the market.)
We have a New Yard Games Area for the littles and for adults at the Information Booth Area!
Come play Hula Hoop, Play Hopscotch, Connect 4, Yard Checkers, Yard Bowling and Compete with one another at Corn Hole.
We have 3 Visiting Vendors this weekend:
Nonprofit Booth: Bald Brothers Helping Others: They are raising money to help a gentleman who is battling brain cancer by selling raffle tickets to for the chance to win a gorgeous motorcycle they rebuilt.
Educational Booth: Brandi McRill with Flourishing Fern will be doing food demonstrations showing patrons how to take fresh local ingredients from our vendors and turning them into healthy meals for your families. The menu she has created for you all looks fantastic.
