We hope everyone has recovered from the crazy weather we had this week.  This weekend is shaping up to be beautiful!

There are so many reasons to love our little corner of the world.

To celebrate National Pop Art Day, Art by Hannah Maria will be painting in our TFM Information Booth this Saturday. Hannah is the artist behind our new logo, has been featured recently in CanvasRebel, and her art can be found around town at Ultra Violet's, The Da Vinci Art Gallery, Hampton Inn-Tomball & in March she will be featured again at the Lone Star College-Library.
Hannah's paintings make a perfect Valentine's Day gift! Come visit with her this Saturday as she works on a new painting at the TFM Information Booth!

State Bills that will affect your favorite farmers and businesses this session:

8 bills
that COULD NEGATIVELY impact our Farmers and their ability to bring us fresh local food and protect our environment!

3 bills
that directly affect Cottage Food and Prepared Food Vendors.

How can you help?

Call and talk to your local representatives in your county!
Ask to talk to staff handling your potential bill. Keep to 3 minutes or less.

Buy local and support our Regenerative Farmers who are working hard to protect our soil and our food systems.

Here are a few bills to talk to all your local representatives about.
  • ADVOCATING: NO to the USDA trying to force small meat farmers to electronically register and I.D. animals.
  • ADVOCATING: FOR Regenerative Farming including wetlands, waste and groundwater. THIS IS HUGE!
  • ADVOCATING: NO for Crop insurance changes.  Hurts small farmers the most and offers no advantages.
  • ADVOCATING: FOR Meat Processing changes making it easier for small farmers to process meat.
  • ADVOCATING: FOR Cottage Food businesses to remove/increase the $50,000 limit they can make a year.
  • ADVOCATING: FOR Cottage Food businesses to be able to ship products.

TFM will be going to Austin with FARFA to advocate for these bills but we need your help and the help of the community!

Join us this weekend for National Dress-Up Your Pet Day at Tomball Farmers Market! Do you like dressing up your pet?  Come out and show off your pet's best outfits and enjoy our truly local farmers market and all the great things Tomball has to offer in Old Town!

If you are like me most of my plants and bushes didn't do well in our last freeze. What kinds of things did you do to protect your plants from the weather? Our Farmers have been busy replanting, tilling and feeding their gardens after the freeze destroyed so many crops. Being a farmer is hard and they face so many challenges daily to feed their families and ours.  This city girl is so glad they do!
Please consider partnering with us or sponsoring one of our projects for our Tomball Farmers Market.

Open for shopping year round Saturday's from 9 to 1 PM.

We hope everyone had a great New Years Eve!! Let us help you with your New Years Resolution and come grab everything you need to start your year off right at Tomball Farmers Market.

Many of our farmers lost a lot of their produce due to the freeze so supplies may be limited as they will need a couple of weeks to recover. Eggs will also be limited as the chickens lay less during the winter.
Tomball Farmers Market is turning 15!!

We can't believe how we have grown over the last 15 years and can't wait to see what the next 15 years bring.  We are one of the largest TRUE all local farmers markets  in the state of Texas!  That's pretty amazing for our little town.  We really have the best community and are so grateful for the way you all continue to support our local farmers and small businesses.  Many of the local businesses in Tomball started here at our little farmers market!
